A week or so ago the CUR took a trip to the Salvation Army’s Orphanage here in Mexico City. We had some games, crafts, songs and skits ready for them. It was a great service event, but a learning experience also (I think the kids needed less structured activities to get their wiggles out), but it was also a lot of fun (and definitely exhausting). The CUR and our students are planning on holding a 3 day Vacation Bible School for the kids at the end of June, and I think we’ll be able to put together a good program after getting an idea of what they are like.
